Agreement to terms
By accessing or using the NexStore platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. The Service is operated by NEX STORE (SSM registration no. 202603090855), a business registered in Malaysia and based in Kuala Lumpur. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
Acceptance. Creating a NexStore account or purchasing a plan constitutes your acceptance of these terms. Where you are asked to confirm acceptance at signup or checkout, that confirmation forms part of the record of your agreement.
Description of service
NexStore provides a done-for-you online storefront service for Malaysian merchants: we design, build, and host your store, and keep it running for a monthly subscription. All plans are month-to-month with no lock-in contract.
Current plans, in Malaysian Ringgit (RM):
- Showcase — RM 129/month. A custom-designed landing site of up to 2 pages, hosted and maintained, with 1 content update per month included.
- Storefront — RM 219/month.
- Workspace — from RM 599/month, scoped and quoted individually.
Plan inclusions are as described on our pricing page and confirmed at the proposal stage. NexStore may update plan pricing with reasonable notice; price changes do not affect months you have already prepaid.
Add-ons. Add-ons are optional monthly extras. You can select them at checkout or arrange them with NexStore at any time; either way they are added to your monthly amount and listed, with current prices, on our pricing page.
Prepaid. The Service is prepaid. You may pay month-to-month at RM 129, or pay ahead at a discounted total: 3 months for RM 329, 6 months for RM 599, or 12 months for RM 999. Prepaid amounts are the total charge for the period, not a multiple of the monthly rate. Unused full prepaid months beyond the current month are refundable on a cancellation request.
Domains & hosting. A custom domain and hosting are included with your plan. NexStore confirms whether a requested domain is available and feasible to register and host. Where a domain is unavailable, restricted, or carries premium registration or hosting costs beyond those of a standard domain, we will tell you and propose suitable alternatives — we cannot guarantee any specific domain name. Standard domains are included; any premium domain you choose to proceed with may carry additional fees, quoted to you in advance.
User accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the Service.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- NexStore reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Merchant responsibilities
- Merchants must comply with all applicable Malaysian laws and regulations, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999 and relevant e-commerce regulations.
- Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of their product listings, pricing, and descriptions.
- Merchants are responsible for fulfilling orders and handling customer service for buyers on their stores.
- Merchants must maintain valid business registration (SSM) where required by Malaysian law.
- Merchants are responsible for publishing their own buyer-facing policies (such as delivery and returns) and honouring them.
Acceptable use
Your storefront must not be used to sell or promote illegal, counterfeit, prohibited, or deceptive goods or content, or to mislead buyers in any way. You must comply with Malaysian law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999 and the Consumer Protection (Electronic Trade Transactions) Regulations 2024, which require online sellers to disclose accurate business and product information.
NexStore may suspend or take down a storefront that, in our reasonable judgment, violates this section. Where practical we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix the issue.
Billing & payments
- All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) unless otherwise stated.
- Your first month is paid at signup via Billplz (FPX online banking).
- The Service is prepaid: after your first payment, you may pay ahead for 1 to 12 months at any time from your billing page. Your coverage runs to a "paid until" date shown in your account.
- Your monthly amount is your plan's base price plus any monthly add-ons you've selected or arranged.
- If payment lapses past your paid-until date, there is a 3-day grace period: your store stays live and your account is marked overdue.
- After the grace period, your storefront is suspended (publicly unavailable) until payment is made. Payment reactivates your store immediately.
- Premium domain fees, where applicable, are quoted in advance and borne by the merchant (see Section 02).
Refunds & cancellation
- 7-day promise. If you cancel within 7 days of your first payment and before your store goes live, we will refund your first payment in full.
- After your store has launched, or after 7 days from your first payment, fees already paid for the current month are non-refundable.
- The Service is month-to-month: you may cancel at any time by emailing nexstorestudio@gmail.com. No cancellation fee applies.
- On cancellation, your store stays live until the end of your prepaid period.
- If you have prepaid ahead, unused full prepaid months beyond the current month are refundable on cancellation request.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method where possible, or by bank transfer otherwise.
Payments on merchant storefronts
Buyer payments made on client storefronts are processed through NexStore's payment provider, Billplz (FPX online banking), and settled to the merchant as agreed in the service arrangement. Merchants remain responsible to their buyers for orders, fulfilment, and any buyer-facing refunds on their stores.
Intellectual property
The NexStore platform, including its design, templates, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of NexStore. Merchants retain ownership of their own content, product images, and store data. By using our templates, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your store for as long as your subscription is active.
Limitation of liability
NexStore provides the platform on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, NexStore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the platform will be error-free. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate the service relationship with written notice (email is sufficient). Upon termination or account closure, NexStore may retain your store data for up to 30 days before deletion. You may request a data export before your account is closed. Suspension for non-payment (Section 06) or acceptable-use violations (Section 05) is not termination; your data is retained while the matter is resolved.
Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Changes to terms
NexStore reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
